Automated sample loading with the Robotic Benchtop Assistant

Designed for the modern laboratory, Astech’s Robotic Benchtop Assistant (RBA) redefines what’s possible in benchtop automation.

Most recently in collaboration with Oxford Optronix, we are pleased to announce that we can provide a benchtop turnkey solution to automate the loading, imaging, unloading, and processing (optional) of samples arising from large scale colony, spheroid or organoid formation assays.

The 6-axis arm provides a wide range of movement meaning that it is both forward and backward compatible to suit both first and second generation GelCount™ devices. The RBA can be configured to process up to 4 multi-well plates per session from hotel stacks that can be loaded with up to 6 trays.
